Emily McCulloch

Emily McCulloch is a Bristol-based wildlife artist specialising in detailed watercolour paintings. Inspired by the wildlife found close to home, with a particular focus on species that are often overlooked or misunderstood, her work celebrates the intricacy, character and charm of British wildlife.

She continues to expand her knowledge of British wildlife through self-directed learning, attending talks and workshops, and engaging with local wildlife groups. Time spent outdoors observing and identifying the species around her often becomes the inspiration for her next piece.

Through careful observation and a love of the natural world, she hopes her paintings encourage others to pause, look closer and find joy in the remarkable wildlife around them.
