Ceramics has been a lifetime journey for me, I fondly remember starting off making pinch and coiled pots then progressing onto the potter’s wheel.

At present I work with earthenware clay either thrown, hand built or a combination of both. I use coloured slip to decorate the piece finishing with a transparent glaze.

I also work with Raku clay which has endless possibilities of decoration. I can find inspiration from all sorts of shapes and forms all around me. I never cease to be excited every time I open the kiln after a firing.
