Tracey StokesFrom: 12th March 2022
Until: 9th April 2022 Tracey is a printmaker from Weston-Super-Mare. Her creative training includes areas of graphic design, textiles and printing, including an MA in Multidisciplinary Print Making. She feels these all play a part in her printmaking to this day. Largely inspired by nature, she creates work in response to feelings and experiences of places she visits. Recently, Tracey is drawn towards screen printing processes and enjoys the hand drawn methods of mark making to produce imagery to put on to screen. Whilst printing, she uses a combination of photo sensitive exposed marks, shapes and patterns to layer up images on the paper intuitively whilst thinking about composition, placement and a limited colour palette to create unique, one of a kind, hand pulled screen prints. Tracey is co-founder of Print [works] Weston.
