I work with earthenware clay making hand thrown functional vessels using coloured slips and sgraffito decoration. I mostly use Octopuses as a design tool, together with other sea creatures and seascapes including landmarks such as such as Clevedon Pier.
I like my work to be fun and light hearted which reflects my love of the sea and the creatures in it.
Much of my inspiration has come from Clevedon, the coastal town where I live. Some of my work uses slip sourced directly from the estuary at Clevedon Beach.
I display my work on Instagram as “seasideceramics_” and am pleased to be exhibiting and selling my work at: Studio 3
